ADS & Psychiatric Patients Status Report  Alcohol Dependency Syndrome (ADS) and Psychiatric cases is submitted regularly on the 5th of every month.  The present status of such cases in the Bn is as under: 9-5-14 ADS Medical Evaluation Any personal identified as comsuming alcohol shall be immediately send for medical evaluation, placed in SHAPE–II, and, if required, recommended for SHAPE–V for medical invalidation. Action Against Chronic ADS Cases Personnel with prolonged Alcohol Dependency Syndrome (ADS), who continue to consume alcohol and show no behavioral improvement even after repeated counselling, advice, and consistent efforts at reform, are subjected to appropriate disciplinary action, including the issuance of formal notices as per rules.
